Couch to 16k for Harley ❤️

My Story
As many of you know, the past few months have completely changed my life. After a tragic accident, my boyfriend Harley spent a month in Plymouth ICU fighting as hard as he possibly could before he sadly passed away.
During that month, the nurses, doctors, surgeons and all the other ICU staff cared for him with such compassion, dignity and dedication. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for everything they did not only for Harley, but for all of us who love him. Knowing he received the very best care possible means more to me than words can say.
To say thank you, and to honour Harley’s memory, I have decided to take on the Great South Run in October and raise money for the ICU that looked after him.
Anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely not a runner and honestly this will be one of the biggest physical and mental challenges I’ve ever taken on. There will definitely be moments I’ll want to give up, but I’ll keep reminding myself why I’m doing it. Every mile will be for Harley.
I want to make him proud and I want to give something back to the incredible people who fought so hard for him every single day.
If anyone would like to support me, donate, or even just cheer me on through training, it would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for all the love and support already shown to me and Harley’s family, it truly hasn’t gone unnoticed. ❤️
For Harley, always xx
